We live just a few miles from this park and are regular visitors. Kayaking, walking, frisbee golf, and many other activities. Kids love the water park, but it's not cheap and it's packed during the summer.

Great campground. Clean facilities. Wooded sites with many trails to hike. RV sites have water and electricity, but no sewer hookup. Only one dump station, so be prepared to wait in line on check out day.

Love these cabins and the rates to go along with them, has all the features of a small house: shower, toilet, bunk beds, queen bed, table and chairs, refrigerator, microwave, sink with running water, a/c unit, stove top (not oven), screened in porch with chairs, firepit, grill and a picnic table. And all for like 55 bucks a night. If you are coming through town, sign up and book this, skip the fancy hotels and stay here instead.

You need to pay to enjoy, but it is well worth it. Clean and beautiful. Several places with real bathrooms. Camping area also has shower buildings. Go during the week and you have it pretty well to yourself.

And the nature center is not to be missed. Site of some great summer camps.

One of the best state parks! The water park is amazing! My only complain is they should have a number of tags for people who are not swimming and are just going in to watch their kids as the prices rise and it is expensive when you are not swimming!

The campgrounds here are wonderful, cabins are very nice but the trailer and tent sites are great too. Lots of amenities and activities for campers.
